Patrick Cares is a blog by a father, husband, outdoorsman, fisherman, athlete, amateur chef, BBQ’er, software engineer, DIYer, and gamer.
Initially, my plan for the blog is to write about my journey becoming a father and share some of my favorite recipes and products. Professionally, I’m a Principal Software Engineer / Team Lead. I enjoy the challenges of software development as a its always changing and rewarding. On a personal level, I have way too many hobbies and passions. I bike, fly fish, play basketball, play softball, game, camp, hike, raft, bbq, and cook.
I’d like to make this blog about all of my passions and hobbies, the products I like, recipes I use, games I play, and much more. When visiting my site, I hope to talk about my experiences and help provide information to people along the way. Such as, how to start smoking meats, buying your first gaming PC, getting into software development, my favorite outdoor gear, or my favorite fishing gear.
For now, I will primarily focus on publishing recipes.
